FIFE DAY CARE SERVICES IS A REGISTERED CHARITY, FUNDED BY FIFE COUNCIL, TO PROVIDE DAY CARE TO OLDER PEOPLE IN VARIOUS COMMUNITY VENUES THROUGHOUT FIFE.

FOR OLDER PEOPLE FROM LOCHGELLY AND LUMPHINNANS, OUR DAY CARE GROUPS TAKE PLACE IN ST SERF'S CHURCH HALL, ON MAIN STREET, EVERY MONDAY AND WEDNESDAY FROM 10.30 a.m. - 2.30 p.m.

 The aims of the organisation:

To provide social interaction for older people, in comfortable surroundings.

To provide a nutritious hot meal

To provide respite to and from carers

To provide volunteering opportunities, with training and support as required, to local people.

 TRANSPORT IS PROVIDED DOOR TO DOOR, AND WE USE SPECIALLY ADAPTED VEHICLES, WITH LOW LEVEL STEP AND TAIL-LIFT FOR WHEELCHAIRS.
