CLUB HISTORY
Club History (04/07/07)

The club was formed in 2004 with one team of 7 players in the 1994 age group and has rapidly expanded to 6 teams from under 14 to under 10 (including a girls team) with over 90 players. Our home park is the Violet Park Lochgelly

Leagues (04/07/07)

Players in the u10's u11's and u12's play in the Central and East Fife Soccer Association. This league is non competitive and games are played on a home and away basis every saturday morning.

Development League (04/07/07)

Players in the u13's and u14's teams are involved in the Fife Development League and their games are played on a home and away basis with games being played on a Sunday morning. The girls team play in the perth and Tayside Region.

Kite Mark (04/07/07)

LKB United received their Standard Kite Mark award in August 2006 in a presentation attended by PM Gordon Brown
SFA Regioal Manager Mark Munroe and Dunfermline's Scott Thomson. Lkb United were the first club in Fife and Tayside (and second in Scotland) to achieve their Development Status and the award for this was presented by Gordon Pate SFA Youth Action Plan Manager.
The Kite Mark award recognises the quality of service offered through coaching, football development , links with schools, the engagement of volunteers, youth welfare provision and club management.
