Anger after theft of poppy charity tin from Lochgelly pub
7 NovemberFife Police have launched an enquiry after the theft of a Poppy charity collection tin from Torley’s Bar on Lochgelly High Street.
Local Community Inspector Kenneth Chatham, who is coordinating the enquiry, said: "It appears that some person has sneaked into Torley's Bar, High Street, Lochgelly, around 10am on Friday 4th November and stolen a full charity tin from the bar. I am appalled that someone would steal such a charity tin and would appeal to the public for help to bring the perpetrator to justice.
"Anybody with information regarding this disgraceful theft is asked to call Fife Police on 0845 600 5702 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where all calls are treated anonymously."
