Dive in and save lives with Lochgelly High lifeguard course
22 FebruaryMake a splash and help save lives at Lochgelly High School whose Community Use is offering a forth-coming Pool Lifeguard Course.
Starting from Monday 2nd April, this course runs for a full week (Monday to Friday) from 9am until 5pm. The assessment will take place on Saturday 7th April before 12 noon. This course costs £200.
The Pool lifeguard award is a nationally recognised qualification that all Pool Lifeguards are required to hold in order to gain Lifeguarding employment.
This course is ILA Scotland approved. ILA Scotland is a scottish government scheme which provides assistance with the cost of approved course fees. Anyone living in Scotland, aged 16 years and over and earning less than £22,000 per year may be eligible to apply for a £200 Learning account.
