Enjoy family time at Lochgelly West Primary

Every Friday morning from 9-9.30am, families in Lochgelly West are invited into school to share in the learning experiences of their children, strengthening partnerships with parents, and transition from nursery to primary.

Family time emerged as part of the school's response to an HMIE inspection. The school has been working to improve transition from nursery to primary for families, and family time has created the opportunity for families to bring their children into school on a regular basis long before they are due to start nursery.
