Haiti Bring and Buy Sale a Big Hit
The whole school were so saddened by the destruction of Haiti by the earthquake that they brought in all their old toys and games and then spent their pocket money buying books, toys and jewelery. Mums, dads and friends came along too and the support staff sold tea,coffee and biscuits.
The total raised was a massive £524.11.The House Captains were delighted with the amount raised and the efforts of all the children, staff and parents to make this a fantastic morning. "We would like to thank everyone who made the day so successful and a special thanks to David Sands who donated the refreshments.Lochgelly West is an eco school so we were very pleased that we wereable to recycle so many books and toys," said Bailey McLelland (Cleish House Captain)
