Lochgelly has taken its first steps towards a future of low carbon dwelling with official launch of the Charrette.
Pupils from all five schools in Lochgelly took part in a two day sustainability workshop in the lead up to the Charrette.
A development of 62 new homes in the Lomond Homes New Farm Vale development on the outskirts of Lochgelly have been designed and built with additional security enhancements.
The Lochgelly Band has announced a sextet of new signings as they strengthen ahead of the forthcoming Scottish Championships in Glenrothes on Sunday 14th March.

The winning team from Lochgelly High School
The kids from Lochgelly High School showed a healthy knowledge of food safety, when they triumphed in the Fife Council Environmental Services Food Safety Quiz.
This competition open to all High schools in Fife was held on Wednesday 17th June in The Rothes Halls, Glenrothes.
Lifting the cup for Lochgelly HS were the team of Sam Deighan,Louisa Hynd, Emma Shields and Jamie Paterson.
The beaten finalists were Woodmill and Dunfermline High A Schools.
The trophy and other prizes were presented by the chair of Fife Council's Police, Fire and Safety committee Cllr. George Kay.
The winning school was presented with a silver cup and each of the 4 winning team members won a gift voucher, a medal and a student cook book.
