Local man arrested after break-ins in Lochgelly area
20 JulyA local man has been arrested following a recent spate of break-ins in the Lochgelly and Cardenden areas.
Fife Police announced that the man has been arrested and charged with several offences.
Detective Constable Laura Nash of Cowdenbeath CID said: "On Monday 19th July, a 33 year old man appeared at Dunfermline Sheriff Court in connection with a number of offences in the Lochgelly and Cardenden areas.
"These offences range from break-ins to commercial premises, houses and motor vehicles. With the assistance of the local community we were able to identify this man and recover suspected stolen property.
"I would ask the public to remain vigilant during the summer months and report any suspicious activity to the police by calling either 999 in an emergency or 0845 600 5702 for routine matters."
