New Farm Vale homes in Lochgelly get Police approval

A development of 62 new homes in the Lomond Homes New Farm Vale development on the outskirts of Lochgelly have been designed and built with additional security enhancements.
And local police have presented the properties with certificates to mark their status as having been designed and built to the Police 'Secured by Design' specifications, offering the residents a higher standard of security.
Secured by Design is the National Police Initiative implementing Police approved measures such as enhanced security doorsets and windows, the layout of the development ensuring maximum surveillance opportunities from properties, access restrictions and lighting installations, all of which are combined to reduce the risk of crime and anti-social behaviour significantly.
